Julie is loving her role as Primary Schools’ Chaplain and schools’ chaplaincy team lead here in Downend. The area is so blessed with all its schools. The children are a real delight and the staff so dedicated throughout the parish. Best of all, this role increases the church’s ability to partner with local schools to jointly serve our local community’s families.

Previously, she has worked as a teacher and a teaching assistant, so has lots of experience in schools. She was also a church children’s worker in a volunteer capacity for many years.

With husband James and two daughters, she enjoys traveling, reading, singing, swimming and staying in touch with friends.
