We all have different ways of experiencing God and expressing our thanks and praise through worship. Although one family, Christ Church has a variety of styles of services at different times on Sundays and in the week.

9.15am Morning Worship at The Church Centre, Quakers Road. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays it is Morning Worship, Holy Communion on the 2nd and 4th. Once a term we have a Communion & Breakfast service with the Young People  – well known hymns and a warm welcome.

10.30am Morning Worship a variety of creative acts of worship at the Parish Church with special groups for children (including under 3s) and young people.

6.30pm Evening Worship offering different styles of evening worship throughout the month.

  • Holy communion – 1st and 3rd Sundays
  • Celtic evening worship – 2nd Sunday
  • Spirit Space – 4th Sunday
  • Service of prayer for healing and wholeness – 5th Sunday


9.15 – 9.45am Morning Prayer at the Parish Church.


10am – 1pm Open Church, we are open for quick reflection and light refreshments. There is a morning prayer at 9.15am, refreshments and chat from 10-11 and a guided Bible Study from 11am. You are welcome to bring your packed lunch and share fellowship together after the study too.

9.30am Holy Communion at the Parish Church. Refreshments served until noon.

10.30am – 12noon, Open Church, Parish Church


9.45am – 11.15am Jigsaw toddler service (in term time) Parish Church
