Christ Church Downend’s service on the evening of November 8th was a time for private prayer for family and friends we have lost and gone before. On this Armistice / Remembrance Day, wherever we are, let us again reflect and pray for our lost loved ones but also for all those who have perished in all conflicts, and that you, O Lord, grant us peace in our time and a longing for the day when people of every language, race, nation will be brought into the unity of Christ’s Kingdom.
