Tues 23 March marks exactly a year since we first went into lockdown.

The government and charities have declared it to be a Nationa Day of Reflection, with 1 minute’s silence at 12.00pm.

At Christ Church we invite you to come for prayer:

12 -1pm

Just before 12 the bell will be tolled to lead into the minute’s silence. Follwing the silence Jo wil llead a time of reflection and prayer, followed by time for private prayer.

6-7 pm

Jo will lead us in a time of reflection and prayer followed by private prayer.

Tree of Hope:

From Sat 20th March come and tie a white ribbon on the yew tree in the churchyard as a simple prayer for lost loved ones, the nation, the local community and your own circumstances. White ribbons wil lbe provided under the tree. From Easter Sunday bring a flower and we will cover the trunk in flowers as a sign of hope for the future.
