Join in a Good Friday Walk around Downend, with readings and activities to remember the events of Good Friday.  We will be starting at the Westerleigh Rd. car park ( KIng George V Playing fields) at 10am.  There will be dramatised readings of the last days of Jesus’life, and acts of reflection to take part in. From King George playing fields we will walk to the Co op car park at about 10.20 and then to the Spiritual Garden behind Christ Church Downend at about 10.40  From there we will come inside the church for hot cross buns,coffee and tea and some crafts for children. Along the way as we walk through Downend we will be carrying a large cross and handing out invitations to our Easter service.

Last year was our first experience of a Journey like this, and it’s back by popular demand. It’s a great way to think about what happened to Jesus as the story is brought to life in the outdoor setting.
