Step 1 – Jesus Carries his Cross

‘If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let them renounce themselves, take up their cross and follow me.’ (Mark 6:34)

Step2 – Jesus meets the Women of Jerusalem

‘Jesus wept.’ (John 11:35)

Step 3 – Jesus Falls

‘Lord, if you are willing, take this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will be done but yours.’ (Luke 22:42)

Step 4 – Jesus is stripped

‘He was despised and rejected, a man of sorrows and familiar with suffering.’ (Isaiah 53:3)

Step 5 – Jesus is nailed to the cross

‘Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies it remains a single grain, but if it dies it yields a rich harvest.’ (John 12:24)

Step 6 – Jesus dies

‘Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.’ (Luke 23:46)
