If you hear lots of noise, children playing with their friends & lots of chasing each other, relay races, catching balls, bean bags & more outside the Pendennis Flats …. Well it’s probably a Tuesday and it’s after school. Nic Barnett from Pendennis Good News Church & Helen Buick from Christ Church Downend have been running the Tuesday Move It Club, a free after school club for children in years 3,4 & 5 every Tuesday from 3.30-4.30pm for the past year.  It’s a small friendly group and the children have thrived & been very committed to attending too. Helen explains, “It’s so much fun, and we have the support & use of the Staple Hill Community Hub, which has been invaluable. We have a few spaces if any more children want to join us. We want to show God’s love to our community and to bless these local children with a fun, free after school club.”
