As we struggle with high energy bills and increasingly hot summers, now is a good time to think about the climate crisis. A new free Eco Art exhibition “The Creation Project” is coming to Christ Church Downend on Sat 24th September.  The church will be open from 10-4pm for visitors to come and view art works created by local professional artists to inspire and challenge.  The exhibition has been put together by Hazelnut Community Farm in Bristol which is a worshipping community in Lockleaze and North Horfield who are passionate about creation.  https://hazelnutcommunityfarm.com/  The “Creation Project” is touring local churches during this time of harvest.

One of the art works is a huge textile hanging that you are invited to make your mark on with your own embroidery. (Materials provided.)

There will an opportunity for you to respond in your own creative ways with art projects and prayer stations. Suitable for all ages: come and explore and be inspired!

Refreshments will be available.
