Come with us on a walk of reflection and witness as we journey together through Downend and hear the events of the first Good Friday through dramatic readings and acts of remembrance.

We gather at the car park at the top of King George V playing fields off Westerleigh Road, Downend BS16 6 AH at 10.00 am.

After readings and reflection we walk together to outside the Co op where we continue the story and hear how Peter betrayed Jesus in his fear. (Around 10.20 am)

We move on to the churchyard at Christ Church. (Around 10.30 am) and gather at the crosses in the Spiritual Garden.

Then we are able to enjoy hot cross buns and coffee in the church and some craft activities for children.

Dress for the weather. Buggies and wheel chairs welcome. Children welcome, under supervision of their families, especially when near cars and roads.
