Messy Church is for families who don’t do tidy. In fact, Messy Church is for those who don’t do church – at least, not in the traditional sense. Messy Church is for those who don’t do Sundays. Messy Church is for those who don’t do “sit quietly.”

Messy Church IS for those who like to create (mess, models, pictures, scenes, chaos). And for those who want to explore (corners, imaginary jungles, faith, boundaries)

We meet in the parish hall for crafts, games and activities, then move to the church building for a short and interactive act of worship. When we return to the hall a miraculous transformation has taken place: where there was glue and paint, there is now a great hot supper waiting for us. (So great that some members of the family who can’t get away earlier, join us for tea.)

Our publicity for 2016 is out and ready for you to stick on your fridge; post through a friend’s door; frame and hang on the wall in the loo; use as a handy coaster for that last cup of tea before you do the school run – whatever. We don’t care, as long as you remember the dates and come along!

Messy Church is on a Wednesday evening, 4th Wed of the month.
