Dear Saints
As Andrew Murray said, “Where there is much prayer, there will be much of the Spirit; where there is much of the Spirit, there will be ever-increasing prayer.”
All are welcome to join in with the monthly rhythm of One Church One Day 24 hours of prayer, 7pm Friday 2nd February to 7pm Saturday 3rd February. Whether we pray with family, or friends, or enjoy a one-to-one with the Lord, whether we choose to pray actively, creatively, or reflectively, we are blessed for a whole hour of being consciously present to the God who is constantly present to us.
We gather this month around the beautiful verse above from John 14:27. The Youth/OCOD whiteboard will be in the Christ Church building if you would like to choose a prayer hour there, or else use the following link  https://signup.24-7prayer.com/signup/5fd36f
OCOD begins with an uplifting hour of Prayer & Praise Together and yet from the comfort of our own homes on Zoom 7pm next Friday night https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82670522846
The Mission Partner for February is Christians Against Poverty (CAP) and Rosie will be leading us in prayers for CAP at Prayer & Praise Together and has kindly sent through the prayer requests below.
If you are able to join in this month, following your time of prayer please share any reflections you may have. I’m sure the Lord will meet with us in powerful ways as we invite him to speak to our hearts.
With Love and prayers

Prayer requests:
Thanks for client going debt free in Jan and another 3 expected to go debt free within the next month.
Thanks that Mark is recovering and looking to restart accompanying us on visits prior to taking on new clients again.
Thanks for the positive feedback we received from clients for the hampers and the overwhelming generosity of the church family.
Prayer for:
The many clients we are seeing with significant, long term poor mental health problems – please pray that they will be able to engage with our service in order to provide the paperwork needed to proceed. We have a few who have been stuck at various stages for months and something needs to change for them to move forward rather than Head Office closing their cases.
The client who is attending an alpha course – that he might keep going along each week, respond to the love of God and grow in faith.
That really good conversations would open up naturally in our dealings with clients so that we might be able to share more of the love of God with them.
