Sometimes on a Sunday we worship through serving the community, sharing God’s love with others. Our young people do this once a month, and some get involved in the summer with Super Serving Sunday. Instead of having a service at 10.30 on Sun 28th August, you are all invited to Lincombe Barn Park and woods at 10.30 am for another Super Serving Sunday! We will begin with a short time of open air worship, followed by some practical tasks such as path clearing, trimming undergrowth, cleaning the play equipment and picking litter. We’ll finish with a picnic lunch together. It will be a joyful time of showing the community how God loves them and the environment, and therefore, how we do too!

If you can, bring thick gloves & useful tools. Wear old clothes (and your Noise T shirt if you have one) and bring plenty of water to drink, as well as your packed lunch.  There is parking at Lincombe Barn and on surrounding roads.

If you’re less mobile and would like a lift and a chair provided, please get in touch or sign up in church. You could join us for the worship songs and then stay to chat as people come and go, and stay for the picnic lunch.  If you’re not able to come to the park, do join our 9.15 service that day at the Church Centre, Quakers Road. If you need a lift to this, please get in touch.

There will be no live streamed service that day.
