Monty Mouse has tried Zoom, Facebook Live and hanging out in the park with under 5’s over the last year or so
But he will be really glad to get back to the Parish Hall on Fridays at 9.45 am from September 10th 2021
Monty Mouse is a puppet who sing little songs to well known tunes to help small people learn how to pray and how to discover how much God loves them. In many ways, Jigsaw is like any toddler group, with lots of toys, refreshments, crafts and nursery rhymes.
In the middle of the session the children get to meet Monty Mouse and join with him in short songs and actions which are age appropriate and a gentle way to explore faith, adult and child together. Suitable for families who have faith, or for any who would like to explore the idea. Mums, Dads, grandparents, child minders all welcome.
The doors open from 9.45 and children can find plenty of toys to play with, while the adults are greeted with a warm welcome. There will be crafts to try out and refreshments provided. We encourage people to bring their own children’s drinks. We ask for donations as people can afford, rather than making a set charge.
The group is run by volunteers who have been DBS checked.
At the moment we ask people to continue with covid- safe measures including face masks and social distancing for adults. This will be reviewed as the situation changes.
Disabled loo, baby changing, all on one level. Parking at rear. (We share the parking with the Medical centre so it can be busy, especially if vaccinations are taking place. A good alternative is the Co- op carpark which is not far away.)
