This week at Christ Church our focus has been on Ben and Katy Ray and their two children who are working in Tanzania with Neema Crafts. We enjoyed seeing and purchasing some of the crafts made at Neema last Sunday after our 10.30am service. This week, these crafts are also going to be at Badminton Road Methodists’ Wednesday cafe morning, at Resound Church, and also at Thursday Open Church 9.30-11.30am in the Parish Hall.
Ben and Katy have sent us some updated news, including news of the trip and sales at their biggest market of the year in Dar es Salaam and some specific prayer requests. Read about the work in their latest news and prayer letter (Pdf, 308kb). If you want to know more about Neema, our Christ Church Mission Champions who are in contact with Ben and Katy are Gary Smart and Dave Moller. Gary and Dave were part of the Christ Church Youth Mission to Tanzania in 2015. The Neema Crafts project is one of our Christ Church six Mission Partners. We support Neema by tithing all the offerings we take each week, and share this money between our six Mission Partners. How great it is to see, hear and support Ben, Katy and their family in this great work in Tanzania.
