Grace Huggins celebrated her 90th birthday in style in the new Christ Church Downend building in November.  Friends and family gathered at the Mothers’ Union & again at Thursday Open Church to salute this amazing and special Downend lady.

Grace moved to Downend in 1960 and she has attended Christ Church Downend for 58 years and the Mothers’ Union for 55 years. So with an Amazing Grace cake and a beautiful rendition of “Amazing Grace” sung by Anita Dobson, we marked this special milestone.
