We have received the January 2019 newsletter from Pastor Misa Hiorescu in Moldova. Christ Church supported the building of the church where he is the pastor through a tithe gift taken from donations to the Building4Life project and Misa visited us for the reopening weekend in October.

Pastor Misa writes:

Lord’s peace, dear brothers. Another two months passed since our last newsletter.

I’d like to tell you what happened in the last two months. Every member of our family was at home for the winter holidays. Soon Mihaela and Diana are going back to Romania. Mihaela gets ready for the high school final exam. While being at home, they all helped us in the Church ministry.

For Christmas, we invited the children from school to our Church building where we showed them a short program. Then before they left our Church building, each one of them got a present.

Our Church decided to start a Day Care Centre and we have about 15 children. One Sunday morning there was a woman with her ten- year-old daughter waiting for us at the Church’s door. The daughter’s name is Vica. We introduced each others. And the woman told us that her daughter wanted to come to our Church so she had to come along. We were surprised to see her the next Sunday. Please, pray for Vica and her family.

Meanwhile, we visited a few elder people in our village who live alone and are extremely poor. We gave them each aid packets. Please, pray for these older people that the Lord would touch their hearts.

Thank you for praying for us.

Prayer requests:

  1. Pray for village Ursoaia.
  2. Pray for our Church.
  3. Pray for the children from the children from our Day Care Centre that the Lord would increase children’s number.
  4. Pray for Vica and her family.
